Chromobeam

Chromobeam is a complicated move. For it has eight possible outcomes, all depending on the colour of the light produced. The different colours can be produced by Pokemon with jewels to refract light (Prismond + Spectroid) or that glow multicoloured (Cilite + Fulgella) or have multicoloured lights (Elgyem + Beeheeyem). There are eight colours that can be made, and each one has its own Power, Accuracy and Effect, but all are in the Special category.
Each colour has a 12.5% chance of being produced

On average Chromobeam has a Power of 86.25, an Accuracy of 91.25, and a 50% chance of causing a status effect. This makes it quite a daunting to move to face, but as always it's going to be a gamble to rely on. Especially, when you're looking for a finishing blow and that pesky orange light comes out!

Chromobeam Green also shows the absorptive stage.

As you can see in Chromobeam White, there is a mixture of all the other colours, showing why it has the greatest power.

  1. Just as when a Pokemon uses Magnitude, and a text box saying "Magnitude 7" appears, in the same way for chromobeam it would say "Fulgella used Chromobeam" then a box would appear saying "Chromobeam Green" or similar and then the move would ensue.
