Halo Grip
Physical
Power: 35
Acc: 85
PP: 10
The user tosses a halo off its body and towards the opponent. It expands on flight, and then constricts around the foe. This traps the opponent, preventing the trainer from switching them out. It also causes additional damage at the end of each turn, for 4 or 5 turns.
It functions the same as the move Clamp. And just as clamp requires the Pokemon to have a clam-like shell, Halo Grip requires the Pokemon to have a halo. Thus Halo Grip is only available to Verglo, Beakano, Gelano, Archano, Spectroid and Shedinja - the only non-Light Pokemon to learn it. It is an interesting move to use with Shedinja, because if used in time, you can trap an opponent with no moves to get past Shedinja's Wonder Guard, making for an easy battle.
